アメリカのトランプ大統領は、25日、中国系の動画共有アプリ「TikTok」についてアメリカ国内での事業継続に向けた大統領令に署名しました。
大統領令では国内での事業はアメリカに拠点を置く新たな合弁会社によって運営されアメリカ人が過半数の株式を所有する一方、中国の運営会社と関連会社の比率は20％未満にとどまるとしています。
またアメリカ国民のデータと国家安全保障は適切に守られるとしています。
トランプ大統領は、これまで事実上、TikTokのアメリカ事業の売却を求めていて、19日に行った中国の習近平国家主席との電話会談で、TikTokの取り引きの承認をめぐって進展があったと明らかにしていました。
